About us
The Abbey Community Centre, located in Kilburn NW6, is managed by a voluntary management committee made up of local people and users of the centre. The committee meets regularly to direct the affairs of the charity, which are carried out by a permanent staff team of eight and several sessional staff workers.
The centre is funded by Camden Council, local government initiatives, various trusts, income generated from room hire, and our own fundraising activities.
The centre is committed to equal opportunities and you can download a copy of our equal opportunities policy by clicking here.
The building is on one level, is wheelchair accessible and is compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act. In addition, one member of staff has British sign language to Level 2.
